Victoria Cowan

Creating a caring, nourishing and dynamic cohousing community

I’m a retired state government employee. Most of my career was spent as a manager with an agency that focused on the protection and well-being of all vulnerable people in contact with or residing in out-of-home care.  This included: child day care, group homes, senior centers and residential care homes for the elderly.  As an older person in this society I’m focused on helping to create a caring, nourishing and dynamic cohousing community in San Francisco, where elders can live and thrive.

Exploring beauty as a human nutrient

I’ve been an entrepreneur, professor, industrial designer, ceramic artist, carpenter  and realtor.  I believe change is the only constant and age is a time of abundance to continue exploring  beauty as a human nutrient. I plan to continue celebrating  the  power of creative expression to connect with others.
